Summer Concerts

The season of South Cliff Summer Concerts offers a wide range of musical and other talents drawn from the very best soloists and groups from Scarborough and the surrounding areas; many include professional or semi-professional artistes as well as very talented amateur groups and individuals.

All the concerts this year will have an interval at half time with refreshments provided. All seats are just £5 at the door and represent excellent value for money*.

The Summer Concert season is organised and presented

by the South Cliff Methodist Church.

We are delighted, once again to welcome our volunteer tea team who will be serving refreshments during the interval, this year they are giving the donations from the refreshments to aid the work of the Samaritans. This is a very popular feature with many of our patrons and we encourage everyone to join us. There is no formal charge, but voluntary donations are welcomed for the work of the Samaritan's.

(Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, to provide confidential, emotional support for people of all walks of life and all ages, who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide)

All the proceeds raised from these concerts help to support our Methodist Church and also the Samariton's who provide the free refreshments and receive any donations for this service.
